Yes, I have read that infrared photography is very exceptionally flattering when used in taking portraits and adds a luminous quality to the skin.

As for eyes, it seems that some eyes photograph well with infrared while others can be quite disturbing eg deep-blue eyes, like deep-blue skies, can appear black and look ghostly. I don't think that our Asian brown eyes look that bad in IR but some of the forumers in Clubsnap seems to be quite easily frightened and have commented that the portrait shots I posted looked scary.

In any case, I'll certainly try to take and post some close-ups of the eyes/face if I can find a willing model...

The photo's have given me the urge to try similar, as I would like to see what various PS work/styles will do with it.
