hi guys firstly is it possible to shoot IR with Canon 350D & ongear lense without removing the HOT filter. i do not mind Long exposures.
Secondly which filter should i opt for Hoya RM 72 OR R72....
Third. will using Neutral density filters help in avoiding/minimizing the HOT SPOT.

The 350D is capable of IR, don't need to remove the Hot Filter from the cam.
RM72 and R72 is the same filter from Hoya. Named differently for different part s of the world marker.
Rid hot spots with Neutral Density filter, try and experiment.
