Hi all,
Correct me if I am wrong here....
As far as I am aware, most printers (ink type) are CMYK ?
Small photo printers such as the Kodak and Canon Dye Sublimation type are CMY.
Am I right so far ???
Interestingly, the Fuji Frontier 570 (ah la photo lab), is RGB.
As I said I could be wrong here; but looking briefly at the manual out of interest to see how the laser scan works, I noticed it has 3 colour lasers.
Red, Blue and Green (Green being a modulated IR laser).
I know I must go back and re read it; but I am shure it doesn't have 4 lasers (such as I would expect for C,M,Y,K)
What did amuse me was that it produced one of the colours by using an IR laser and modulating it to a colour.
Probably boring to many (hey, if it gives me good prints, who cares), but I like to learn and/or understand colour processes.
Thanks for reading.
Any feedback is appreciated
