I was curious...hehe

Hi guys,

I posted this a while ago elsewhere but ... oh well.

I was curious one day to see what my 90-300mm lens on the 20D would do in close up IR.

This is the same pic but one with PS alteration and the other straight from the camera.

Not the sharpest shot, I know, sorry.

Hi guys,

The traffic seems a little slow at present.

So would anyone like to comment on this pic ???

Cheers

Pablo my comments:-

1. Could be sharper.
2. Bokeh is ok.
3. Picture too noisy.
4. Background bright patches, distracting.

Will work better if you put a black screen as background.
This pic definitely not shot with the D70.

Things aside such as the shot itself.
For Canon users; I did find that when taking that shot I did not experience hot spots !

That lens (when doing other shots) is bad for hot spots.

I am thinking (though I have not tried to prove) that lens's that produce hot spots can be used to take IR shots.....
The trick is getting the exposure time as short as possible.

Any thoughts on this one guys ???
