Sorry can't join you guys for the IR shoot near our neighbourhood. Thanks to Teerex for organizing this time.

Some pictures taken during the weekend at Sultan Shoal (1895). A very small island... nothing much you can do, just eat, throwing hooks into the sea to attract fishes, taking IR pictures and relax. This place is not open to public. naughty0.gif Enjoy and please comments, even if you don't like the pictures haha0000.gif LOL

Thanks, Teerex!

Just to share some information on this Sultan Shoal... this island is much much smaller than Kusu Island, you can walk round the island in less than 5 mins. In the pictures, that is the lagoon for swimming (sea water)... it is very safe, but you are feeling like swimming in the river/pond.

Cheers!

Since it's so small, what is there to do there?

Are you able to have accomodation and at least spend a night there in the lighthouse building?

Could be a nice place to wait for sunset and take evening shots, and even sunrise if can stay overnight.

These are some very beautiful shots. The composition of #1 is very 36_1_11.gif

You've captured some pretty good contrast in these photos and I believe that they would look just as good in black and white IR as they do in these composite images.

Thanks for sharing.

Cheers
Matt

I spent a night there not inside the lighthouse building, but a chalet. There are only less than 15 people in this island last weekend... What to do ??? Enjoy the sea breeze, fishing, taking pictures, mahjong, karaoke lor! Busy BBQ and eat, did not see sunset. haha0000.gif

It's at southern side... 30-40mins of ferry ride from West Coast. We managed to get the PSA chalet in this island.

Hi photoexpress,

Wow.... like, I mean to say,"Wow !"

Those are very nice shots.

I think the 1st pic would be my favourite though I like the rest.

The 1st (apart from PS work) is a great capture.

Cheers.
