I find them to be too blue.

Think we have the similar shots... that's all I have too... tongue.gif

Composition for all is okay & good... I like them. #2 need tripod ?!??! sweating.gif

IMHO, overall I think the saturation too high?

Bro, think it's too blue liao, maybe can convert to b/w?

Thanks for opinions guys.

Here're those same pics without the blue cast created in the final step in post processing.

To me #4 is better than #2 'cos #2 the vertical is tilted and I was too lazy to correct it.

My personal choice is #1

nice nice after the changes....really make some different.

Maybe you would like to use just a little longer shuttle speed to 'smoothen' the water. Just my thought, with a smoother water, it will make it more dreamy.

They look good now (overall). Good work, Teerex!

Thanks Jon,

Wah! YOU MIA then suddenly re-appear.

I cannot use longer shutter speed leh, my bipod max shutter speed is 1/4 sec. any longer than that "tentu mati" one. haha0000.gif

Thanks Bob,

These were actually my original after pp. The blue cast ones were done out of curiousity to gauge acceptance.

OK, I promise. Next outing I will bring along my old faithful tripod. You guys will get a shock to see that such a tripod still exist.

Looks like most of us really have the same shots.

Got a few more to share and for comments.

#5 Maybe my "pa jiao" eyes are playing tricks on me. The foliage on the left side of this pic seems to have greater depth, looks a bit like 3D to me.

Still the same comments "Nice shots". My sincere compliment.

Nice angle for the bridge... next time got tripod, greater dof tongue.gif
Tree too center for #8?!!? But I really like the sharpness and the tone.
#9 - agree with you... move a little to your left.

Hi there teerex,

I like the first shot (both with the blue cast and without it )!

If that shot (with blue) was looked at without others to compare with, the picture looks interestingly good.

Picture #5 realy looks good to me.
(if, what looks like a flower about centre, was PS'd to be a bright red/pink, what do you think) ?

#6 and #7 are excellent !

Cheers smile.gif

Thanks Pablo,

Was fooling around with pp and found that the blue cast shots interesting.

Too bad, did not have a tripod with me yesterday, else would also take some colour shots with IR and do some colour blending like what photoexpress used to do.

Maybe try and colour that flower to see how it looks like.

Thks for comments and tips Bob.

Will "definitely" bring along a tripod on the next outing. Then see what type of DOF I get with a smaller aperture.
